The band recorded the album at their Gowanus studio and the record features appearances by Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys, Paramount Styles), Michael Hampton (The Faith, Embrace, One Last Wish, Fake Names), and Anthony Roman (Radio 4). The first single is "Listening, a strident, hooky punk number with real swagger that the band says is about "paying attention and choosing where the boundaries are at a time when they are constantly being redrawn."
Brainswitch, a post-metal quintet from Mostar, is a new member of the Geenger Records family. Today the band premieres a music video titled "From the Sleep" off their upcoming album "Sun Worship Kingdom" – a concept album portraying a generation’s utopian experience in a dystopian environment. "From the Sleep" video was directed and edited by Goran Tiro, the band's guitarist.
Brainswitch recorded 10 new songs for their new album at several locations in Mostar. Besides Brainswitch members, the album features several guests, including Mike Armine of the US post-metal band Rosetta who recorded vocals for "Sometimes Comes the Mother, Sometimes the Wolf"....
Zagreb’s own (The) Lesser Men released a new video in the wake of their homecoming concert premiere of the new album References, Reflections. Revelations. Filmed in one take by the singer/keyboardist LesserManBasic, the video is an invitation to the bands tumultuous inner circle and a challenge for the listener, both new and old, to attend their first proper live show in Zagreb in more than two years.
With special guest star accompaniment by Irena Žilić as well as an opening performance by Sleepyheads, the show is scheduled on Thursday Jan 23rd in Tvornica.
